Email Sending Setup

Outbound email works best when sending is handled deliberately and safely. This page explains the available sending options and how access is managed.,

Overview

All outbound campaigns require a sending email address. You can choose how this is set up depending on your preferences for separation, control, and technical involvement. Regardless of the option, sending is limited strictly to outbound email and can be revoked at any time.

Sending options

1. Your existing company email address

You may choose to send from an existing address on your primary domain (for example, name@yourcompany.com).

  • No additional setup cost
  • Uses your existing domain reputation
  • Best suited for smaller campaigns or experienced teams
  • Requires a sending-only credential without inbox access

2. Dedicated outreach email address (same domain)

A separate inbox on your existing domain (for example, outreach@yourcompany.com) used only for outbound email.

  • Clear separation from day-to-day email
  • Easier reputation management
  • Common choice for ongoing outreach
  • Typically includes a short warm-up period

3. Managed email setup (fully handled)

If you prefer not to handle email setup yourself, we can create and prepare a dedicated outreach address on your behalf.

  • Email account creation
  • Initial warm-up
  • Sending preparation
  • Minimal technical involvement

General information

Access and security

When access is required, it is limited to sending only. If sending access is removed, outbound activity stops immediately.

  • No access to your inbox
  • No ability to read incoming mail
  • No access to account settings
  • Credentials can be revoked at any time

Warm-up and pacing

Outbound email accounts benefit from gradual ramp-up. Campaigns are paced deliberately to protect domain reputation, reduce bounce and spam risk, and maintain consistent deliverability. This is one reason campaigns run in batches rather than all at once.

After the campaign

At the end of a campaign, sending access can be removed and the outreach address can be retired or kept for future use. No ongoing dependency is created — you remain in control of the sending setup at all times.

Not sure which option fits?

If you’re unsure which setup makes sense, you don’t need to decide upfront. We’ll discuss sending options during alignment and choose the safest approach based on your situation.

Ready to proceed?

Once sending setup is confirmed, campaigns can move from alignment into execution.
